We are seeking individuals with a talent for crafting marketing strategies, executing marketing plans, devising sales strategies, nurturing customer relations, and generating insightful sales reports.

Reporting Line: The selected candidate will report directly to the Business Development Manager at THERMOTECH Engineering and Projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Achieve Agreed Sales Targets.
  2. Identify, research, and prequalify potential clients; Close and Convert Qualified Prospects into Valuable Clients.
  3. Cultivate both existing and new client relationships.
  4. Prepare and deliver technical presentations elucidating products or services to current and prospective customers.
  5. Engage with customers and engineers to understand needs and offer solutions from our company portfolio.
  6. Actively contribute to the development of all sales channels.
  7. Source for Tenders, Respond, and Submit Winnable Tenders; Follow-up and Close Tenders.
  8. Negotiate contract terms with clients and engage with stakeholders.
  9. Ensure project teams execute contracts as per agreements.
  10. Conduct ongoing market research, Gather Market Intelligence Data, and compile competitors’ data.
  11. Deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients and internal stakeholders.
  12. Maintain and expand the sales pipeline with qualified prospects.
  13. Foster strategic partnerships to drive business growth.
  14. Collaborate with the pricing department to formulate rate proposals.
  15. Assist in the end-to-end sales process.
  16. Liaise with the Project Team to finalize sales contracts for customer satisfactory execution.

Job Specifications:

  1. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Psychology, Project Management, or any Business-related field.
  2. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Sales & Marketing or Business Development.
  3. Proficiency in Excel, sales reporting, analysis, forecasting, and sales strategies.
  4. Strong persuasive, problem-solving, and closing skills with the ability to propose win-win solutions.
  5. Willingness to travel (approximately 65% of the time) and conduct site visits for client meetings.
  6. Familiarity with the engineering industry or an engineering background is preferred.
